I’m Clemens and I love to tell stories. About my beautiful and beloved home town of Vienna. About its history and its people. And about other people’s stories that bring Vienna to life.
Born and raised in Vienna my ever-growing interest in the city’s rich — and at times tumultuous — past drove my decision to study history. Alongside my studies, I worked at a local wine estate and unearthed a deeply rooted love for wine.
After graduating from university, the latter passion prevailed and I pursued a career in wine marketing, first in Austria and then on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
Coming home to Vienna after 14 years away rekindled my passion for Viennese history. Time for a career change. After undergoing the necessary — and surprisingly demanding — trainings I went from wine expert to Certified Austrian Tour Guide.
So here I am, ready to take you on a journey!
